The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is famous for its unique Eau Rouge Passage, considered one of the most challenging and dangerous sections in the entire Formula 1 series. BRONZE AREA

Spa has some of the best general admission areas. However, you will need to be prepared, as many of the walkways are unpaved and there are hills in most areas, especially around Eau Rouge. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and pack a raincoat, so you can fully enjoy the stunning forest location. You’ll love the atmosphere of the race with thousands of other fans, all at the best price.

BLANCHIMONT 17/27 – Grandstand

This uncovered grandstand offers views of Turns 15 and 16. It is located at the southeasternmost point of the circuit. However, this grandstand is restricted to fans aged between 17 and 27. Although it’s far from the main spectator areas at Spa, it is connected to a special camping zone for young fans, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable for that age group.

  • Position: At turns 15 and 16.
  • You see: Exit of T15–T16 and cars launching down the long flat-out run that follows.
  • Best moments: Small errors turning into position changes through the next sector.
  • Good for: 17–27 crowd wanting a social, youthful atmosphere.

GOLD 1: Pit – Grandstand

This grandstand is located on the main straight, opposite the pits. It’s a great choice if you want to see the race start, finish, and pit action. It is covered and provides a thrilling atmosphere before and during the race.

  • Position: Along the pit straight by the start grid.
  • You see: Race start, pit stops, and team activity across the pit lane.
  • Best moments: Launching off the line, safety car restarts, and strategy calls playing out.
  • Good for: Fans who want the “main stage” feel and constant pit-lane context.

GOLD 9 – Grandstands

These grandstads are located near the famous La Source corner and are divided into two sections: GOLD 9: Pole Position and GOLD 9: BIS.

  • Position: Near start/finish towards La Source.
  • You see: Braking and sorting into La Source. Pit Lane exit.
  • Best moments: Race start and first-corner sorting.
  • Good for: Fans who want either the grid view or Turn 1 action. 

GOLD 8: La Source – Grandstand

This grandstand is located at the La Source hairpin with views down the start/finish straight. Its popularity is clear, selling out quickly every year. You’ll also have a great overview of what’s happening in the pit lane.

  • Position: Opposite the pit straight near the T1 zone.
  • You see: Cars surging from the start towards La Source and pit-lane activity.
  • Best moments: Start fireworks and undercut/overcut sequences visible across the pits.
  • Good for: Enjoying the start/finish action with a clear view of La Source.
  • Historic highlights: La Source is famous for its dramatic incidents: the huge multi-car pile-up in 1998, the spectacular crash in 2012 when Romain Grosjean triggered a chain reaction that eliminated Alonso, Hamilton and others at the start, and another big first-lap accident in 2018 involving Hülkenberg, Alonso and Leclerc.

GOLD 7:  La Source – Grandstands

These grandstads are located near the famous La Source corner and are divided into three sections: GOLD 7: La Source, GOLD 7 BIS: Source and GOLD 7 TER: Source.

  • Position: Near the La Source hairpin.
  • You see: Cars going through the slowest corner and coming out of the pit lane.
  • Best moments: First-lap chaos, late-brake overtakes, switchbacks on exit.
  • Good for: Watching cars battle side by side and the excitement of the first lap.

GOLD 2: GP2 – Grandstand

This grandstand is located on the straight between La Source and Eau Rouge, with direct views of the old pits area.

  • Position: On the straight between La Source and Eau Rouge.
  • You see: Full throttle run from the hairpin towards the climb.
  • Best moments: First-lap shuffles, slipstreaming and tight battles before Eau Rouge.
  • Good for: Speed sensation and build-up to the iconic uphill section.

SILVER 1: Francorchamps – Grandstand

This recently rebuilt grandstand is located on the hill overlooking the section of track between La Source and Eau Rouge. It also offers distant views of the opening La Source corner and is conveniently located near the pit exit.

  • Position: La Source exit with sightline towards the run to Eau Rouge, near pit exit.
  • You see: Rejoins from the pits and acceleration from the hairpin.
  • Best moments: Undercuts merging into traffic, battles out of T1.
  • Good for: Best for following strategies and for fans who want a clear view of the pit-lane exit.

SILVER 2 – Fan Zone Grandstand

This grandstand is closer to Eau Rouge, making it a better choice than Silver 1. It offers incredible views and a great atmosphere, and it’s close to the food and drink stalls. You can fully enjoy the fan zone that’s located right behind the grandstand.

  • Position: With a view towards Eau Rouge and the rise to Raidillon.
  • You see: Cars flat-out after La Source, settling before the climb.
  • Best moments: Slipstream trains forming and cars racing hard up the famous hill.
  • Good for: Atmosphere plus classic Spa sightlines. Very close to the Fan Zone.
  • Historic highlights: 

GOLD 3: Eau Rouge – Grandstand

This is considered the best grandstand for views of Eau Rouge, especially since it was rebuilt in 2022. Now a covered grandstand, it offers excellent views of the famous corners and the section of the track leading up to them. Enjoy the battles from the first hairpin through the legendary Eau Rouge and Raidillon.

  • Position: Focused on the Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex from a different angle than Gold 4.
  • You see: Cars powering through Eau Rouge and sweeping up Raidillon before charging down the Kemmel Straight at full speed.
  • Best moments: Qualifying laps, first-lap traffic and small errors that cost time.
  • Good for: Fans who want Eau Rouge/Raidillon in full view with a roof overhead.

GOLD 4 – Eau Rouge Grandstand

This uncovered grandstand is located next to Eau Rouge and offers exceptional views. You’ll enjoy dramatic battles on track like never before, while taking in the incredible atmosphere.

  • Position: Focused on the Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex from a different angle than Gold 3.
  • You see: Cars racing through Eau Rouge and climbing up Raidillon, gaining speed onto the Kemmel Straight.
  • Best moments: Flat-out runs and small mistakes that cost big time.
  • Good for: Fans who want Spa’s most famous corner sequence right in front of them.
  • Historic highlights: At the 2011 Belgian Grand Prix, Mark Webber (Red Bull) pulled off one of the most memorable overtakes in modern F1. Heading into Eau Rouge, he went side by side with Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) and, without lifting, completed the move up through Raidillon.

SILVER 3 – Grandstand

This grandstand is located on the inside of the popular Pouhon corners, delivering overtaking action to fans at this technical section of the track.

  • Position: Outside of Pouhon, near the first apex of the double-left.
  • You see: F1 cars taking the fast corner at high speed.
  • Best moments: Flat-out action in qualifying runs, small slides and saves. 
  • Good for: Fans who enjoy high-speed cornering right in front of them and long, clear viewing time per car.

SILVER 4: Bruxelles (Rivage) – Grandstand

This grandstand (in the past known as Rivage) is located at the top of the circuit, far from the others. It overlooks the slow Bruxelles corner. It has individual seats with backrests and is covered. For the best viewing experience, go for seats in the higher rows. 

  • Position: Opposite the long right-hander, with a view towards the following left.
  • You see: Drivers carefully braking downhill and holding control through the corner.
  • Best moments: Rain or changeable weather make this braking zone very tricky and exciting.
  • Good for: Fans who want clear views of wheel-to-wheel action in a prime braking zone.

GOLD 6: Chicane – Grandstand

This covered grandstand is located at the Bus Stop Chicane, close to the pit entry. From here, you can enjoy racing action and an incredible atmosphere.

  • Position: At the final chicane before the main straight.
  • You see: Heavy braking, pit-entry line and the dash to the flag.
  • Best moments: Last-lap battles, drivers pushing the limits, and photo finishes.
  • Good for: Race-deciding action and end-of-lap excitement.
  • Historic highlights: Memorable moments at this spot include Lewis Hamilton’s dramatic clash with Kimi Räikkönen in 2008, when the two fought wheel-to-wheel in changing conditions, a battle that decided the outcome of the race. The chicane has also seen countless last-lap lunges and track-limit controversies, making it one of the most action-packed places at Spa.

SILVER 6 – Grandstand

Silver 6 sits on the inside of Turn 12, the right-hander of Les Fagnes. It overlooks the quick right–left where cars stay around 200 km/h (120 mph).

  • Position: Inside the circuit at T12 (Les Fagnes right).
  • You see: Cars exit Pouhon, turn right at T12, flick left at T13, ride the kerbs and power towards Stavelot.
  • Best moments: Qualifying commitment, quick direction changes, small errors over the kerbs, and late moves into the left.
  • Good for: Fans who want to watch rapid switchbacks and car balance at high speed, with clear, uninterrupted views.

Speed Corner – Grandstand

This grandstand is right at the exit of Turn 9. It offers views of the cars speeding by before braking into a tight turn. 

  • Position: Right at the exit of Turn 9 (“Speed Corner”), on the outside.
  • You see: Cars launching flat out up the slope from T9, then hard on the brakes into the next tight turn.
  • Best moments: Passes on the run and under braking, lock-ups, and side-by-side entries.
  • Good for: Fans who want a prime overtaking zone with speed into heavy braking.
